001. It was pay day on Thursday and I took myself shopping as I was (once again) getting bored of my wardrobe. I bought lots of new things and can't wait to show you them all. How amazing are these glasses and soldier prints? Love them! My search for the perfect pair of trousers still continues. It seems there's none out there that don't make my big bum look bigger than it really is whilst not being far too short.
002. I bought myself this bag from eBay on Wednesday afternoon. I've been wanting a bag that looks like the Mulberry Alexa for ages now and finally decided to give in and buy a fake as I'll probably never afford to spend so much on a bag. It arrived on Thursday, less than 24 hours since I bought it, and I've not stopped using it since. It's great quality and a perfect size for everything I carry.
003. I also got some new body analyser scales as our old mechanical scales aren't very accurate. As well as weight they also measure your BMI, body fat percentage and body water percentage which is pretty cool but I'm not sure how they work it out and how accurate it is! The scales still show that I've lost 3lbs and I'm still feeling really motivated. I'm looking forward to more running and going to the gym this week - I never thought I'd be looking forward to exercising!
004. I bought my Mum these lovely flowers for Mothers Day from a local shop. The bunches that places like M&S and Interflora were charging for bunches this size were ridiculous but I got a good bargain. The photo doesn't really show how big they are but I struggled fitting them on the floor in my car and they are so heavy. They're lovely though. Lucky Mum. ;)
005. I've been curling my hair lots this week. My hair never usually holds a curl but my sister's HerStyle curlers are SO GOOD. They're like the GHDs of the curling world, seriously. I'm loving having something a bit different to my usual straight hair. It only takes me 2-3 minutes aswell - so easy.
006. Last night I went to see Source Code at the cinema. It's about a soldier (hello, Jake Gyllenhaal!) who is part of a government experiment that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life with the goal of preventing a bomb attack. I thought it would get boring as it did seem to be replaying the same 8 minute scenario over and over but I actually really enjoyed it. Not too sure what I think of the ending yet - I've spoke to a few people about it and we all have different opinions. Worth seeing though!
007. I also bought the first 4 vampire Diaries books because they were buy 1 get 1 free in Tescos. I really love the TV series and I'm hoping the books are good too. I've heard a lot of the story is different but I'm trying not to let that put me off starting them. Has anyone read them? So excited for the TV series to start back up again on Thursday!
I hope everyone had a good week. Have you done anything exciting?
LOVE the glasses print fabric! It's so cute :)
ReplyDeletePlus, I really miss getting a proper card cinema ticket... the Vue cinema nearest to us just gives you a practically see-through reciept... boo!
I bought my mum's flowers from a local florist too and they were so much better- loads cheaper and the benefit of choosing the selection you know she'll want. Hope you both had a lovely Mothers Day :) xx

Sophie - It's lovely isn't it? I bet it would hold up well to carrying around lots of books too. It's so sturdy. x
Rose - I wanted the solider one too after seeing it on Milkteef was so glad when I spotted it - there was only 3 or 4 left! I hope you manage to find one. x
