I'll admit that USC is usually a shop I'd walk right past. It's a shop that I associate with brands like Gio Goi, G-Star and Lacoste so you can imagine my surprise when I was invited along to a Ladies Night at USC in Glasgow and fell in love with so many cute dresses, some of the nicest chunky knitwear I've seen this year, some cute animal print items (did they know I was coming?) and plenty of studs.
As I browsed their collections, I felt like I was walking through one of my regular high street favourites rather than the sporty, branded image I had associated with USC. They stock brands such as bloggers favourite Lovestruck, Lashes of London and I also learned that they have their own brand called Abandon too.
I had a lovely night drinking cocktails, eating cupcakes and writing a wishlist as long as my arm. I never thought I'd say this, but I'll be heading straight to USC come payday and that moustache, top-hat and bowtie blouse is top of my list! If you were like me and had a similar opinion of USC then I'd definitely recommend having a browse on the USC Website!

It's odd when shops surprise you as I would never have considered USC before!
ReplyDeleteI never go in there but I love black and studs and they seem to have plenty! x
DeleteWow! What a collection- can I spot a studded floral number in the first photo?

Admittedly I used to have a similar view of USC and have walked right past the store on my last few visits to Glasgow. But some of those dresses and tops in your pictures look really cute so I think I might just pay it a visit next time.

I used to like USC for the knitwear and dresses, then they got rid of ours in Brum for a Hollister. That Tie dye dress is literally out of this world!!
ReplyDeleteI always get dragged into USC by my friend and I'm usually pleasantly surprised by how nice some of the dresses and blouses are in there! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI've always been the same but these photos look fab, although the one in Stoke was a little bit vile as I think it got everything a year too late along with every other shop in that lovely town!

I like the dress black and green. The clothes of the store on the whole are black, but dark shades is my favorite.
