shirt: primark | leggings: peacocks | necklace: topman
I looked out my old SNES this morning and have been lazing around playing old school Mario Bros and Street Fighter for most of the day so this outfit was just something comfortable and acceptable to wear to work later on tonight. I mainly wanted to post to show you a better photo of my nails!
I got a lot of people asking me how I created the 'drips'. They're fairly easy to do using a Models Own nail art pen - you just colour in the top of your nail as if doing a french tip and then squeeze out some big blobs and shape them into drips. Before I bought the nail art pens I used to do the same style using the standard nail polish brush and sometimes a fine paint brush to neaten things up. It just takes a bit more time and effort doing it that way!
Oh, and I'm wearing pink lipstick (Mac Snob) for a change. Usually I'm a big fan of red but I thought I'd try something different. I'm really not sure on it though, it feels strange and a bit too 'Barbie' to me! I'm much more comfortable in reds...
i bought a ridiculously pink lippy the other week and have been too scared to blog it, i don't really do lipstick so it really is insane for me!
ReplyDeleteno ways i love snob on you!! i have it too but rarely wear it, it makes me look like a frigging tranny?! JEL of your nails! xxx
ReplyDeleteI think that necklace is the best necklace in the world, I absolutely love it. Love the shirt too, it's similar to one I got in Peacocks a while ago, so much cheaper than the Topshop alternatives but look just as good!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Those nails are amazing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous look, love the shirt...oh and your nails are simply adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have your shirt and i havn't worn it since because i have no idea how to wear it! It looks amazing on you so definatly can't wait to pull off the shirt! Also the lipstick looks LOVELY on you! xxx
ReplyDeletesnob is my favourite mac lipstick :) i'm the complete opposite, red is so out of my comfort zone!
ReplyDeleteALSO SO JEL AT THE FACT YOU STILL HAVE A SNES! I've debating for agesssss about whether to buy one on Ebay or not! Mario was the best on that!

Think the lipstick looks great on you. I´ve always been afraid of pink lipsticks (as well as berry ones:)) but I guess if you find the right shade (and you did, I think:)), it can work out really well. I got a Rimmel one in Asia and it´s gorgeous. I actually got inspired and am going to do a post on it and other lippies I own.
ReplyDeleteThe shirt looks great as well. And I´m a big fan of the necklace:) x

Your nails look gorgeous! And your shirt is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThe lipstick suits you! I think it you were to wear a pink top/dress/skirt with it, it'd look a bit Barbie-ish, but as it is, it suits you :) xx
