dress: dorothy perkins* | ring: topshop | necklace: accessorize | nails: fashionista magnetism*
I was kindly sent this dress from Voucher Codes to take part in their a day in a dress campaign. It's the perfect shape for me, I just wish there was a bit more space around the boobs because the buttons are almost popping open! The dress is from Dorothy Perkins, somewhere that I don't often shop. They do have a lot of nice dresses in at the moment though and Voucher Codes has some discount codes that might just tempt me into making an order as a little Christmas treat to myself!
The whole magnetic nail polish trend is something I never thought I'd like but after trying out this nail polish by Fashionista I'm sold! I've not been doing much nail art on my own nails lately because I always end up ruining it within a day whilst painting shop orders and the magnetic nail effect is really quick to create and although it's still quite subtle it's a bit more exciting than plain colours.
Thanks! Definitely try the polish, I was surprised with how nice it looks! x
ReplyDeleteMe too! I didn't think I would like it either x
ReplyDeleteThanks hun :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! x
ReplyDeleteMe neither, it's definitely not what I'd associate with DP! x
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's from one of their concessions but has made me realise DP itself has lots of nice things in. x
ReplyDeleteThanks hun :) The ring was a bargain, got him in the Topshop sale xx
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely isn't it? x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try it out, it's great! The consistency of this one is lovely too and very easy to apply. x
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's one of my favourites x
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think the colour is different from the usual darker colours and that's why I'm drawn to it. I thought it was another fad like the crackle polishes but I actually really like the effect. x
ReplyDeleteThank you! x
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely! :) x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try it out, this one is from Superdrug and they've got a few other colours too! The new comment thing is Disqus - switched over since it means I can reply to comments now. :) And you know, I'd always swap some nails for wax tarts. ;) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's in the sale now for only £20 and there's a 20% off code too so if that works it would be a bargain. :) I think I'll definitely size up if I buy another dress from DP! x
ReplyDeleteMe too, it's so cute! x
ReplyDeleteAww thank you hun! :) x
ReplyDeleteWe should both wear them on Monday :D x
ReplyDeleteLovely look

Ooooh, I want to try the magnetic stuff, have only seen blue and silver shades but much prefer this one!! I love your nail stuff recently, its really top class, just wish I could afford some, or get away with wearing them as I can't for uni/work so never really have chance to play around, pah!!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit too!! Whats this new comment thing btw? :O xx
love the necklace and aksdjlsdkfj everything actually. :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is just gorgeous and looks lovely on you. xx
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so lovely, I love how you've styled it too with that belt and necklace. I agree the Christmas markets are much better this year. Did you also see the ferris wheel in George Square? They've upped their game ;) xx
ReplyDeleteI love Fashionista polish, it's really quick drying as well which I love. Great dress, and I totally agree with you about the sizing of the dress, I have that problem ALL OF THE TIME. It's a complete pain in the arse trying to dress a bigger bust at times. Anyway, I have nominated you for the versatile blogger award as i love your blog, it's a great read and you completely deserve it! xo
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I want that dress! I think you look amazing in it! I just bought a lovely polka dot dress from Dorothy Perkins, but it sits really weirdly around the booby area. Such a shame because it's the prettiest thing to look at. Sadface!
ReplyDeleteI love the print on the dress :) I need to try some magnetic polish, love the effect it creates! x

Love that necklace!
ReplyDeleteI've not really been intrigued to try magnetic polish but your nails look gorgeous - not sure if this colour looks nicer than the usual, silver or purple metallic shades.
