What a horrible week and what a rubbish start to 2012! I was hoping to share stories and photos about how brilliant my trip to the zoo was, but we never made it to the zoo in the end. My car broke down 60 miles from home and it took 6 hours of waiting around stressing, a £170 tow home and £30 of wasted zoo tickets later (not to mention the god-knows-how-much repair my car needs) before I was back home and able to pour myself a well needed drink! Instead I spent most of my week - which I had booked off work - moping around the house, eating chocolate and having baths. Oh, and my Christmas present, a PS3, broke on me too. FML.
Things picked up yesterday when I set plans in motion to buy my 'dream car', a little Fiat 500. I went to a local dealership and after sitting inside one (and not wanting to leave!) I now love and want it so much more. Car finance is proving to be a complete headache so it'll probably be a while before little Fi Fi (yes, I've named her already!) shall be mine. I'm excited already!
I also thought this would be a good opportunity to share some of the photos taken on my new phone, the HTC Sensation XE. I tend to keep my interest in technology (particularly in mobile phones - it's the sector my job is in!) separate from my blog but I've been part of a UK blogger's project, working along side HTC, for about 1 month now and I'm really impressed with the phone - especially the camera and effects! It probably won't stop me using my DSLR for most occasions but it's nice to know I've always got a good quality camera at the ready!
Crossing my fingers for a better week this week!
I reaaally like the pale blue ones but not as much as I like the cream off-white ones! I think I'm going to go for that with the red and white interiors :) x

I love Fiat 500's, they're my dream car too. Sorry you had such a rubbish week, my first week of 2012 hasn't gone so well either! All the food looks yummy and it's making me hungry!

Hope your year picks up next week. My car once broke down in Liverpool, about 140 miles from home. Absolute nightmare, the man from the RAC was dead nasty to me as well. Hope you get a 500 though, they're lush. x
