I haven't blogged about Lush in months, mainly because I've been working my way through my Christmas sale haul and it didn't feel right blogging about products which aren't available in store. However my stash is almost finished and I finally allowed myself back in to the store to pick up some new things to try - starting with these insanely cute macaroon inspired Bubbleroons.
I was instantly drawn to the Rose Jam flavoured one, which with it's rose, geranium and lemon oils smells exactly like turkish delight. Like their sweet counterpart, I think you'll either love it or you'll hate it. I'm not usually drawn to musky, floral scents in Lush (I love their sweet scents like Snow Fairy and Rockstar) but this is divine and quite possibly my new favourite Lush bath product.
Yuzu and Cocoa was the 2nd Bubbleroon I picked out, and it has one of the most interesting Lush scents I've ever tried. It's really hard to describe - a relaxing mixture of citrusy oranges, coconut and creamy vanilla. I love moisturising bath products and thought the addition of coconut oil and shea butter in this Bubbleroon would hydrate my skin - and I was right!
The Bubbleroons snap in half easily (great if you're like me and always break your Lush products up to get a few uses from them!) and once crumbled under a running tap create lots of soft bubbles and a luxuriously creamy bath water. The scents are perfect for relaxing in the bath before bed, and leave your skin feeling like silk. I found them to be very perfumed too and the smell lingered on my skin and in my bathroom for longer than a Lush product usually would. The un-used half of my Rose Jam one is currently in my drawers scenting my clothes!
At £2.95 each I think these Bubbleroons are definitely worth trying. I reckon you'd be able to spilt each one into 4 pieces, unless you're like me and like to be engulfed in bubbles!
Lush do some of my favourite fragrances, I love their solid perfumes, they last forever and are so handy to just pop in your bag - I want to go back to lush now!

They look so yummy! I've never really thought to try Lush products as I suffer from quite sensitive skin , so I'd be intrigued to see what they had in-store.

I was in Lush today picking up some body scrub for summer body mission!
ReplyDeleteI've tried a few bubble bars in the past but find them less economical than a big bottle of Radox. Though at that price and if it easily snaps in two and you aren't breaking up a pretty flower or robot makes me think I might re-visit the bath stand - "a relaxing mixture of citrusy oranges, coconut and creamy vanilla" sounds like my kind of scent.

These newly invented bubbleroons are great for a relaxing time during baths. It leaves the skin silky and glowing every time. It's quite remarkable for its cute shape and it also looks like macaroons at first glance. They come in really cute scents and colors.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty they sound amazing! I'm going to pick some up next time I'm in Lush because I've almost run out of my Christmas lovelies. x x
