Winter is my favourite time of year. I love layering up and being warm, but still enjoying the cold nippiness in the air and the way it turns my cheeks rosy. It's by far the prettiest season with golden leaves on the ground and of course snow, despite how often we complain about it.
I love nothing more than being in my room on a cold winters night with a hot chocolate by my side, topped with marshmallows, wearing cosy pyjamas and my fluffy socks, surrounded by candles with one of my favourite films on the TV.
These remote control candles* which were sent to me from the Paramount Zone top christmas presents 2012 selection are so realistic and take away the worry of falling asleep with candles lit. Not only do they flicker like real candles, but they also have a timer which switches them off after 4 or 8 hours. All that's missing is the Christmassy scent my other candles give off, but for £12.99 they're great value for money and will save me money with the amount of candles I burn!

ReplyDeleteI've never even heard of remote control candles until now, but they sound like a fab idea! I'm also a huge fan of winter, you can't beat curling up under the duvet hiding away from the cold with a nice cup of hot chocolate :)

If it's scented electronic candles you're after you should try http://scentsy.net. It's quite clever as it uses a low watt bulb to melt the wax. It doesn't flicker like a real candle but at least you get the lovely fragrance! :) xx
