I usually try and stay away from metallics as I don't favour the disco ball look, so made this a personal challenge to wear metallics whilst keeping them subtle enough that I was still confortable! My three items were a Topshop jumper (£39), a bargain ASOS skirt (£10.50) and a Vero Moda dress (£26), which are all linked below, totalling in at £75.50. How do think I did?
jumper: ohmylove via topshop* (£39) | dress: ax paris* | shoes: river island
I incorporated some subtle metallics into my go-to daytime combination of a pretty printed dress (bonus points for having a cat print!) with a jumper, as it's still a bit cold outside! The jumper has lovely metallic threads mixed through the knit aswell as some tiny sequins, unfortunately this didn't pick up too well on my camera!
top: cameo rose | skirt: asos* (£10.50) | shoes: river island
This skirt was an absolute bargain at £10.50 and although I wasn't too sure about it when I saw the picture online, it arrived and I really like it! I think it's one of those items that can be dressed up or down so it will no doubt get lots of wear! I promise my body isn't as long as these photos make it look either, oops.
dress: vero moda via asos* (£26) | shoes: topshop
Finally I picked this Vera Moda dress, again another sale bargain from ASOS. It's a little more green toned than the pictures showed but I like it all the same and once I nip it in a little at the waist I can see it becoming one of those dresses that you can always rely on when you feel like you have nothing to wear!
It looks fantastic! I especially like the skirt :) xxx

I had several reactions when I visited Jonny at his old flat, so it's a mystery how I've not had as much dissertationplanet.com as a single sneeze down to having to Maggie in our new home. My inner crazy cat lady has never been happier.
ReplyDeleteLiking that last dress.
