My red velvet yankee candle finally burned out, so I was treated to (to prevent me breaking my 'no shopping' lent promise, aww) to this Limited Edition Chocolate Bunnies easter candle and mmmm, it's good!
If you love the smell of chocolate, and can't imagine anything better than your home smelling of yummy melted chocolate then this candle will be perfect for you! It's quite sweet, and the scent is maybe a bit too overpowering for everyones taste, but I think it's divine!
Since the rooms in my flat are so big I find that Yankee Candles are worth the price as they seem to be the only candles that have a strong enough scent to make an entire room smell. I buy these jars from ebay and a £16.99 large jar will last me around 2-3 months which I don't think is too bad.
Do you like Yankee Candles, or is there a better brand out there? What's your favourite smell?
I think there's a green apple flavor if I'm not mistaken but it smells so so good! I wanted to buy it but I was being cheap haha.
ReplyDeleteGaah, this sounds so good! I love Yankee Candles, although I can't ever justify spending £20 on a candle :/ xo
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea! x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteAhhh I remember this from last Easter! It smells AMAZING xx
ReplyDeleteI need to smell this, sounds lovely
ReplyDeleteI'll need to go give this a sniff - I always like the food and spice scents so I'll probably be a fan :L I like Diptyque candles but I honestly don't know if they'd fill a big flat like yours scent wise, and they're so much more expensive so I'm not convinced they're actually worth it - though the Amber scent is heavenly. Shearer candles are gorgeous too, and not as expensive but I have no idea where other than at random garden centres (oh isn't my life exciting!) you can actually buy them...
ReplyDeleteThat looks incredible! A chocolate candle, I don't think it can get any better than that!
ReplyDeleteat the moment i'm loving the tarts from yankee. don't have a favourite yet. i split them in 4 and they last a while. way cheaper.. + having a cute tart burner is nicer than a jar of wax. (i'm cheap so i'm trying to justify myself. haha)
