one above one

I planned to take some photos of my outfit today but the camera wasn't getting along with my outfit or my face - so instead I thought I'd do the obligatory post about my favourite bag and it's contents. I love this bag so much that it deserves it's own post anyway!



My friend Jenna took me out shopping for my 21st birthday and this bag is what I chose. It came packaged in a lovely box with it's own protective drawstring bag which made me feel like I'd been gifted an expensive designer bag rather than a £35 one from Dorothy Perkins. I don't think it looks like something you'd buy from Dorothy Perkins at all. Needless to say I absolutely love it! I love the 3 different textures, the detachable strap, and the gold fastening which reminds me of a bathroom tap!




LEFT TO RIGHT: Urban Outfitters nautical purse, house and car keys, iPod touch, Blackberry Bold, Lush Lemony Flutter, Lush Whipstick and Honey Trap lip balms (addicted!), Eyeko Fat Balm in Frosting, Diana Mini, hair ties, Lush Helping Hands, nail file.

I won't pretend that my bag is always this tidy - I actually binned a lot of junk that had been collected at the bottom including receipts, wrappers, nail polishes and about 5 different pens. I usually use a bag for 1-2 weeks, get fed up because it's so full of crap, change bags, and repeat! So there you have it, what's inside my bag! Hopefully my camera co-operates a little better tomorrow and I'll be back with some outfit photos for you all.

    Your bag is so beautiful - I am so shocked it came in a drawstring bag AND a box! Defintely going to have a look at it next time I'm in town, I'm on the hunt for a new bag too.
    I love the way you've photographed the stuff in your bag too, they're such lovely images. I did wonder for a minute why you felt it necessary to have an iPhone and a Blackberry but then I realised it was obviously an iPod Touch, ha ;)

    Such a lovely bag, I would never have guessed it was Dorothy Perkins. My bag has similar contents, only with a million receipts and lost mints floating around..

    Wow love that bag, can't believe it's from Dorothy Perkins either! I have a Diana mini too, very cute. My bags always end up like that too- receipts, pens, hair ties etc. ! xx

    That bag is lovely and looks a lot more than £35! I always have tons of pens and receipts kicking around at the bottom of my bag, along with lots of pen lids, hairs and other assorted miscellaneous crap! Love your Diana mini, I'd love to have one of those to carry around with me all the time!
