CARDIGAN: topshop | DRESS: primark
Wow, where has the week gone? I can't believe it's Wednesday already. I've been falling behind with blogging a bit this week but I've completely deleted my graphic design portfolio website and have been working on a new design for that as well as applying for any jobs that pop up and I've been out with friends every day. So I've got a lot to show on my next week in photos post. ;)
I've sat around in my PJs all afternoon so this outfit is just something comfy to wear to work tonight. I'm quite lucky that my work doesn't have a dress code - we can wear whatever we want which is good for those days where you just feel like slouching around in leggings. Sometimes I do wish I had an excuse to buy some smarter clothes though. The heating in my car has stopped working again, and my work is always freezing too, so this cardigan is perfect because it's so slouchy and comfortable and keeps me really warm!
Is anyone else going to the Urban Outfitters Glasgow Film Festival Party tomorrow night? I'm possibly getting the night off work and if I do, I think I'll go to this - although with it being two days before pay day I don't think I'll be buying anything/much!
Ooh, gorgeous dress, love the print. The cardi looks cosy too. I'm lucky not to have a formal dress code at work either. It's great- it means I can be a bit more me!

Oooo I have this in cream, love your colour. It's so comfy right and I love the print.Good luck with your site xx
ReplyDeleteI have this dress, so cute! Haven't worn it yet though, looks nice with the cardigan x
ReplyDeleteI love working from home becuase I can be as crazy with clothes or as comfy as I want to :) You look lovely , and sounds like a busy week !
ReplyDeleteAaah I can't believe it's already Wednesday either, I've got so much work that needs to be done! Sounds like you've had a lovely week sweet, I totally need to redo my portfolio website soon ): I love your dress, cannot believe its from Primark, will need to make a trip there once Feb is done with. xx

That dress is cute, not seen many peter pan collar dresses with a animal print on they all tend to be plain with a contrast collar.
ReplyDeleteThat cardi looks sooo snuggly and warm, there was one like that in next but it was £70!! madness.
xx
I love the cardy, it looks so cosy and nice! Looks lovely with the dress too, I keep seeing it in store but I'm never convinced with the horse print but it looks so much better on than it does on the hanger! xx
ReplyDeleteAmy - I love that I can be 'me' at work too! I actually wore my black/leopard peter pan collar dress to work last week and my team manager was laughing at me because I was 'dressed so formal'!
ReplyDeleteGem - Ahh I wanted the cream one but they only had the blue! Thank you, I'm not the best at web design but hopefully I can make something nice x
Emma - I actually bought this dress when I saw the swallow print primark dress you posted - i still really want that one! :) x
Filipa - I think if I worked at home I'd just sit in my PJs all day ;) x
Michelle - Me too, I've got a big list of things to do before the end of the week and I'm running out of time! Primark has so many lovely horse print pieces in at the moment. I can't believe how well you've stuck to frugal feb, I think I would last about a week ;) x
Sheps - Thanks! The cardigan is sooo comfy x
Gem - Yeah, it's a bit different. :) Quite hard to see from the pictures but the collar has a cute floral detail sewn onto it too. I wanted that Next cardigan, and then I saw this one in Topshop at £48 (without student discount..) which wasn't as bad! It's in the sale now at £25 though :( x
Lucy - It definitely does look better than what it does on the hanger! My only complaint is that it's quite short. I had to get 2 sizes bigger so that it was an almost acceptable length - still don't dare to bend over though! x
Oooh good luck with the job hunt and the new design site :) Looing forward to seeing your week in photos then ;) Gorgeous dress.
ReplyDeleteAhh I love this dress! My sister bought it the other day and I'm very jealous!
ReplyDeleteGood with the job hunting too lovely :) xo
The weekends seem to be going by so quickly these days, don't you think! It's amazing that it's already mid-week!
ReplyDeleteLove that cardigan on you, it looks soooooo super comfy and cosy, I bet you're totally warm in it! I really need a comfortable cardi, I seem to just be stealing my boyfriend's wooly one these days haha.
i really like your dress and your cardi does look warm and comfy!!! :)

ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD. I wasnt going to come to Glasgow tomorrow because I am tired with no money, but errr I need this dress in my life!
ReplyDeleteAs well as it being lovely to go to the UO party!
Bee - Thank you, I'm hoping to get something soon! Sitting around all day and working in the evenings is driving me crazy! x
ReplyDeleteJess - Thanks, hopefully you can steal your sisters every so often ;) x
Michelle - They do go by really quickly! My days off are Sun-Tues and they always fly past and the rest of the week drags :( Boyfriends cardigans are the comfiest! Mines doesn't like me stealing his clothes though, boo! x
Reg - Thank you, I was actually far too warm at work tonight! x
Cherry - You probably have, Primark have gone horse print crazy at the moment! x
Sarah - I had to size up on the dress, the size I usually get looked awful! x
Steph - It is! I'm so glad I bought it in the end. £48 seems a lot for a cardigan to me but I've got lots of wear out of it :) x
Alex - Thank you, it really reflects my lazy mood I think haha! x
Death_sexxx - Thanks :) x
Klee - It was far too short on me but I bought it a few sizes bigger and it's not so bad now. ;) x
Sophie - It's perfect for throwing on with anything for a bit of warmth - I love it :) x
Alex - I've never actually watched an episode of Glee haha ;) I love the horse trend too, although so far I've only seen it in Primark! x
Krissy - Thank you :) x
Adele - I was FAR TOO HOT at work. Seriously. haha :) x
Rose - Thank you :) x
Rani - Haha! I can't believe Edinburgh still doesn't have a Primark. MADNESS! x
The week has blown past!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I really do love your sweater. It look so cozy and comfortable! Perfect for this type of weather.
lovely dress, i've seen them in primark but not convinced the style would suit me, but like the cardi very much, i'm really drawn to big chunky cardigans recently!!
ReplyDeleteI own this dress and I love it, it's the only dress with a Peter Pan style collar I've found that isn't ridiculously high-necked. I did have a bit of a debate with my friends whether the print is of horses or unicorns, I'm going with deformed unicorns!
ReplyDeleteYou look cuuuute! In reply to your comment, I got the shirt just after Christmas in the sales. xxx
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the jobs front lovely, hopefully youll find something ace really soon and can then have your birthday off. I still can't believe how much your current work suck!
ReplyDeleteLove the cardigan, very cozy. I tried that dress on (I actually think its a top!) and it was far too short on me, indecent! xx
Lovely outfit, and the cardigan looks soo comfy :) Time is just flying by these days, can't believe it's nearly March!! xx
ReplyDeleteSexy cardie, its so so adorable! Topshop do do the best knitwear, peacocks are pretty great too for the warmer stuff. You have a cute 'n' quirky style, laavin it! <3
ReplyDeleteI <3 your cardigan. Good luck :)
