BASECOAT: barry m 'bright pink' | DETAILS: barry m 'spring green' & models own 'lemon meringue'
It's been ages since I last done a nail art post! I've been stuck in a bit of a leopard print rut again and I think most of you would get bored if I was constantly posting leopard print nails - even if they were different colours.
The first ever piece of nail art I attempted was strawberries and they were a bit of a mess. Now that I'm a bit better I wanted to retry them and I'm much happier with how they turned out this time! I opted for pink strawberries because I'm not a big fan of red nail polish but I think the pink ones are really cute. I wish I could have found a smaller nail brush as my dots are a bit messy.
I'm really excited for this weekend - it should be a good one! I'm going to see Battle: Los Angeles tonight, going for a pub crawl tomorrow night and then I've got night out for a 21st on Sunday. I'm hoping I'm not too hungover by the time Monday comes around! What are your plans for the weekend?
Oh, they're so darling! I love how you've used pastel colours - the adorable strawberry nails remind me of the kinds of strawberry illustrations you find on Korean stationary (totally a good thing!)

Oh! How sweet! I'm no nail artist by any means but last time I wanted little dots I dipped a wooden toothpick into my polish and used that instead of the brush- worked a treat!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!

These are ultra cute, I wish I could do my nails well, I just don't have a steady hand. I have seen so many gorgeous patterns on blogs recently I envy them all.
