basecoat: barry m | nail art pens: black/white, models own | random cheap white nail polish

I had planned to make this a tutorial as it's been a while since I posted my first tutorial but after taking pictures of the process I noticed how easy it was and that it didn't really have many steps to follow. It really is as simple as paint a white base coat, use the black pen to create the tux shape and then carefully draw on the buttons and bow tie.

I'd still love to post some tutorials for nail art though, so if there's anything you'd like me to try then please leave a comment and let me know! I'm up for painting anything except leopard print as there are so many tutorials out there for it already.

I used about a gallon of nail polish remover to remove the black from around my nails (black is seriously the messiest colour ever!) and as you can see my skin is all dry now so I'm going to spend this afternoon soaking it with Lemony Flutter. I've noticed a huge difference in the quality of my nails these past few weeks after starting to take a Vegan Multivitamin. I had originally wanted to buy Skin, Hair and Nails but it has gelatine in it so isn't vegetarian but the lady in Holland & Barrat said the multivitamin should do the same thing - and it does! I'd really recommend it if, like me, you have really weak nails.
