I'm a big fan of glittery nail polishes so when I first saw this nail polish from the new make-up range released by Look magazine I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and try it out!

I find it really difficult trying to describe this polish because it looks different under every light. Sometimes when you look at it you can see the lovely dark purple, almost black, base and you're fooled into thinking it's simply a dark matte nail polish. Yet in other lights the glitter catches your eye and gives off a beautiful purple/pink sparkle. I took the second photo with flash, so hopefully you'll see what I mean! I've had so many compliments on this nail polish, mostly based on the fact that it's very understated until the light catches it.

The forumla was also impressive. It's quite thick, making it so much easier to paint your nails neatly. I usually make such a mess when painting my own nails, but these photos were taken with minimal clean up! It's also opaque within one coat, making it a good on-the-go nail polish, although you can built it up with 2 or three coats like I've done. It also lasts well, I got 6 days of wear from it (without a base of top coat!) before there was anything more than tip wear.

At £5 per bottle I think these are brilliant value for money and will definitely add more to my collection! Look Beauty is available exclusively in Superdrug.
