When Next invited me to their homeware event last month, I was able to pick up a few pieces and couldn't resist these little recycled glass jars to decorate my room with. One reads 'shine and light' and makes a lovely little tealight holder, and the other reads 'blossom and blooms' and currently holds some purple daisies. I have them on top of a chest of drawers and they make a nice change from photo frames or little ornaments.
They're a bit of a touchy subject in the house, as I'm obsessed with glass jars and containers - if it were up to me I'd have all our pasta, rice and other kitchen cupboard bits and pieces stored in lovely clip jars (like these ones!) - but my flatmate hates all things glass it seems, so I have to limit myself to having these in my room!
Sadly they're no longer online but I've spotted them in another Next store since, so it's worth checking instore! Let me know what you think of them, and whether you're a fan of little glass jars like me! Maybe we can convince my flatmate to let me buy them?! Wishful thinking!
Oh I LOVE these! So simple but really lovely. Might have to pop into my local Next and see if they have them! Your flatmate is weird :p xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I have the blossoms and bloom bottle too and it's perfect for flowers.
ReplyDeleteI saw these in store and loved them, if I didn't already have so many candle holders I would've definitely got the small one. As if your flatmate doesn't like glass things, jars make everything so much prettier! :)
